Alan moore the guy who made the story of Rorschach said:Rorschach was created as a way of exploring what an archetypical Batman-type character?a driven, vengeance-fueled vigilante?would be like in the real world. He concluded that the short answer was "a nutcase.?

That and because Rorschach was never going to accpet it. He is never willing to compromise with society so he would always try to find? a way for everyone to know.

At least this dark cloud has a silver lining. If Manhattan had never killed Rorschach, he would never have? gone to Equestria and learned what friendship could be.

It is just such a pity that the movie got so needlessly, childishly gory.? Most of the more restrained violence in the comic is way more impactful. Combine the comic's overall story with the movie's ending and you get the best version of Watchmen.

Fans? of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The movie did a number of things better than the comic. For instance, Ozy's scheme to unite Earth against Dr. Manhattan was way more well done in the movie than was his scheme in the comic involving the giant psychic squid thing.

I can second that. I really didn't like how Dan just shrugged the whole thing off in the? book, and started making out with Laurie instead of going after Rorschach.
