Hey, Cenk, As someone who owns a house that was standing in the 1920s, I'm familiar with the phrase "It'd be cheaper to tear it down and start over," coming out of the mouth of a contractor. If the wiring and plumbing aren't up to code, if the windows and doors? need to be replaced, if the house needs siding and insulation, etc., it all adds up pretty quickly. And ants and termites on top of that! Believe it or not, the story could actually be true.
