Not true actually. In the concept art for Poison and Roxy they were referred to as Newhalfs, which in Japanese culture is a pre-op MtF transsexual. Poison was always a tranny :) and I'm? fine with that. I don't know why you guys are trying so hard to make her a biological woman. That's much less interesting than what she actually is.

If you look at concept? art of Poison before Final Fight was even made, you can see some Japanese writing which when translated, says "new half" in other words, transsexual. In the Japanese Final Fight instruction munaul it also refers to Poison as a new half once again. So, sorry, Poison was always intended to be transgendered, it had nothing to do with American censors.

Nope. Original concept art for Final Fight had her labeled as a "Newhalf" which is a japanese term for a man to woman tranny. Also in the original japanese release she? was called a newhalf in the game manual where there was a short bio of all the characters.' There's literally no evidence whatsoever to suggest anyone intended for her to be 100% woman, and all evidence to suggest otherwise. You're wrong. Have fun with that.
