I prefer lego, because unlike Megaloks, their stuff is motherflipping size accurate. There is no triple sixed revolver, or Miniature droideka. Megalok Brutes ar 1/2 the actual size, and the plasma rifle is 3x larger than the stanard size in game. Problem? Plus, although detailed, megablo plastic is softer, and more breakable. I bought a Chopper set and withiin 3 hours of assembly, the joint on the Brute's left elbow snapped.? For a LEGO dude, it taes tons of effort to break the plastic;

I LOVE LEGO MORE THAN MEGA BLOKS, BUT FOR? THE VECHILES, MEGABLOKS ARE BETTER BUT EVERYTHING ELSE HAS GOT TO BE LEGO AND COME ON, WHO WOULD COME UP WITH AN IDEA OF CANDY BRICKS, YOUR GOING TO EAT IT ANYWAY!!!

if your like mega bloks and? super blox why did you review lego sets?

As a collector of all three brands, out of all i would reccomend the Mega Bloks Halo line.They really fit together well and the vehicles are interesting.. The only difference? is that US citizens and Canadians have to pay the same price as us, which means we are basically paying double. Other than that all lines are great, and fit together well.

I'd say Mega Bloks and Lego? are equal. I happen to be a collector of the Halo sets and I sometimes pick up a few Lego City sets and some other Lego stuff. But I judge both companies equally. Super Blox I've actually never heard of, so yeah

the only thing wrong with mega block is that they dont stake very good with LEGO bricks and they are a loose fit? usally

Well I can only guess that you are not buying the MegaBloks Probuilder carbon series sets, these are a much higher quality than the regular MegaBloks sets. Also, in general the Halo sets are a higher quality too,? but not as high quality as the Probuilder series.

Oh yes, how could I forget, I bought the Red Spartan II that? has its own stand and its stickers are really weak, and most of my megabloks fall off really easily in comparison to LEGO.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here, my LEGO sets all have stickers that need to be put on; and? I hate that because I have a hard time getting them on straight. LEGO has very few items that are pre-printed compared to Enlighten bricks which have no stickers at all; everything is pre-printed on the bricks. If you watch some of my Enlighten train videos, you can see that they don't skimp with what the printing on the bricks.

The reason why LEGO is so great for me, is that it doesn't fall? into pieces easily and instead of stickers, the images are printed with the LEGOs...

LEGO used to come in boxes with just red bricks and white bricks. Then they started to come with just a few yellow ones too. LEGO sets were just bricks of a few different sizes and it was a big thing when sets started to come with axels for vehicles. I'm not knocking it,? because everyone does it now, but these days LEGO sets have more in common with 3D puzzles than they do with the sets from the 1970s when LEGO became popular. What's sad, is most of the specialized pieces are made in China.

I don't think that is completely true, my 9 year old neighbor has shown be some of his stuff, he buys sets, keeps them? for a while, then builds his own stuff. I do agree the creativity is less, used to be creator sets said "builds 20 models" now it is just 3. I have heard this is because LEGO was loosing money by designing that much for one set. Part of the problem I is LEGO designs to many specialty parts that only have one function for City and other sets. How did it use to be? Examples?

Great comment. I love the ability to buy individual LEGO pieces, especially when very specific pieces are needed. But if I just need? common pieces because I'm building something big, then I usually buy a Banbao or Enlighten set and take the pieces out that I need; it's a lot less expensive than buying LEGO pieces. When I was a kid, LEGO was LEGO, and you built whatever you could dream up. These days every set makes something specific; they sucked the creativity right out of LEGO for most kids.

I normally don't like to take sides in the whole LEGO vs. MegaBlocks fight. Right now I build only LEGO, but in my younger days I had tones of MegaBlocks and really didn't care. The only reason I stopped was because of the LEGO community. You must build exclusively? LEGO in order to display at LEGO cons and other events If the community was more excepting, I would never have stopped. The one problem I have is that now I only build custom stuff and only LEGO allows you to buy individual parts.

halo mega bloks is way better than lego halo. I hate every mega bloks? thing exept HALO MEGA BLOKS.

You don't know your brick history, and your comment makes you look ignorant at best. That "small family in Denmark" copied Kiddecraft's brick design after they were shown a sample of it. There was a law suit that went on for years about it. These days, the basic brick design is generic and not owned by any single company, nor should it be. The? problem really is that there are kids all over the world who don't know the facts, and instead of saying LEGO is better, they wrongly say LEGO was first.
