I attended the midnight premier of AVATAR in IMAX 3D. I'm a huge fan of AVATAR and I decided months early that I was going to go in full costume, as Jake Sully's avatar in his RDA outfit (Sorry, nothing but a loin-cloth will have to wait till Dragon*Con next year :D). I talk a little about the movie afterwards (no spoilers!) and my costume and I have some pics at the end. All in all an incredible experience, one of the best nights I've had. The movie basicly had me on my knees begging for more, I forgot to get video of leaving the theater after the movie because I was flipping out about it lol. I'd been working on getting everything I need for the costume and planning it out for two months. It took me pretty much the whole day to put it all together, with some help from family. I was really impressed with it, turned out great. I'm "one of the people" now woot xD Lemme know what you think!

Awesome job on your costume man. One of the best I've seen and on premiere night too! I too fell in love with Avatar. By far the best movie I've ever seen and ever will see (depending on what 2 and 3 are like). I saw the original 25 times in the theater and I saw the Special Edition that came back to theaters in August 5 times. Who knew that 9 extra minutes could make the best movie ever? even better. Now I'm just waiting for November 16th! :)
